RESOLUTION NO. 73R-582
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT NO
PROTESTS WERE MADE IN THE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY TO
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM KNOWN AS EAST LA PALMA
NO. 2 ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, in connection with the annexation of
uninhabited territory to the City of Anaheim, heretofore
designated by the City Council to be the East La Palma No. 2
Annexation, the City Council in accordance with Section 35121
of the Government Code of the State of California, did fix
the 18th day of December, 1973, at the hour of 1:30 P.M. at
the Council Chamber in the City of Anaheim, as the day, hour
and place where the City Council would hear protests made by
the owner or owners of any real property within the territory
proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was published by
the City Clerk in the manner required by law and said hearing
was held on said date; and
WHEREAS, no one appeared at said hearing to protest
said proposed annexation, and no written protests were filed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it find and declare, and it does
hereby find and declare, pursuant to Government Code Section
35121.1, that no majority protest against the, East La Palma
No. 2 Annexation was made at the hearing called to hear and
pass on all protests.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 18th day of December, 1973, being within 30 days
after the closing of the hearing to which reference is made
herein.
