RESOLUTION NO. 73R- 558
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND BECHTEL POWER CORPORATION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID FIRST AMENDMENT TO AN
AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, City and Bechtel entered into an agreement
dated December 5, 1972; and
WHEREAS, said agreement requires Bechtel to design
the expansion of Lewis Substation to permit Lewis Substation
to receive power at 220 kV, and transform it to 69kV for
distribution by the existing Lewis Substation facilities; and
WHEREAS, the original scope of work excluded certain
engineering services which the parties now deem desirable for
Bechtel to provide.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of a First
Amendment to an Agreement between the City of Anaheim and
Bechtel Power Corporation be, and the same are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to execute said First Amendment to an Agreement
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
