A RESOLUTION OF THE ClTY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVlNG AN AMENDMENT
TO THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMEND-
MENT NO. 129, EXHIBITS NOS. A, BAND C.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider an amendment
to the Circulation Element - Highway Rights-Of-Way on the
General Plan by changing Romneya Drive, North Street,
Sycamore Street, Santa Ana Street, Olive Street, and West
Street from Local to Collector Streets; and Cerritos Avenue
(West of Knott Street and Orangewood Avenue between the
Santa Ana Freeway and State College Boulevard) from Secondary
to Primary Highways, Blue Gum Street (Miraloma Avenue to
Orangethorpe Avenue) from a Primary to a Secondary Highway,
and at said hearing did receive evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, following said hearing thereon, the Plan-
ning Commission did duly adopt a resolution containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented
at said hearing, and a recommendation that said amendment to
the General Plan designated as Amendment No. 129, Exhibits
Nos. A, Band C be adopted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary
of evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 30th day of
October, 1973, as the time and the Council Chamber in the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing
upon said proposed Amendment No. 129 to the General Plan and
did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law;
and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportun-
ity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that Amendment No. 129, Exhibits Nos. A, Band C amending the
Circulation Element - Highway Rights-Of-Way on the General Plan
by changing Romneya Drive, North Street, Sycamore Street, Santa
Ana Street, Olive Street, West Street from Local to Collector
Streets, and Cerritos Avenue (West of Knott Street and Orange-
wood Avenue (between the Santa Ana Freeway and State College
Boulevard) from Secondary to Primary Highways, and Blue Gum
Street (Miraloma Avenue to Orangethorpe Avenue) from a Primary
to a Secondary Highway should be approved.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 129, Exhibits Nos. At
Band C amending the Circulation Element - Highway Rights-Of-
Way on the General Plan by changing Rornneya Drive, North Street,
Sycamore Street, Santa Ana Street, Olive Street, West Street,
from Local to Collector Streets, and Cerritos Avenue {West of
Knott Street and Orangewood Avenue (between the Santa Ana Free-
way and State College Boulevard) from Secondary to Primary
Highways, and Blue Gum Street (Miraloma Avenue to Orangethorpe
Avenue) from a Primary to a Secondary Highway be, and the same
is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Development Services
Department be and it is hereby instructed to amend the General
Plan Map to conform to General Plan Amendment No. 129, Exhibits
Nos, A, B and C herein approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 30th day of October, 1973.
