A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING AND ESTABLISHING RATES
OF COl\1PENSATION FOR VARIOUS JOB CLASSES, AND
SUPERSEDING RESOLUTION NO. 72R-468, AND AMEND-
MENTS THERETO.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the basic compensation plan for all officers and
employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will
in the future be employed in any of the classifications of
employment listed below shall be allocated to salary schedules
as follows:

The letter "X" preceding a schedule number indicates
that employees working in that job class are exempt from over-
time provisions, as provided in Personnel Rule 6.04, Premium
Pay. The letter "UII preceding a schedule number indicates
that employees upgraded to that job class shall be paid pre-
mium pay as provided in Personnel Rule 6.41, Premium Pay. The
letter "s" preceding a schedule number indicates that employ-
ees in that job class shall be eligible for consideration for
merit pay increases as provided in Personnel Rule 4.17, Appro-
priate Salary Step. The letter "J" preceding a schedule number
indicates that employees working in that job class may be paid
at a rate of 5% below the "All step of the salary schedule for
that job class, as provided in Personnel Rule 4.42, Appropriate
Salary Step.

Section 3.

. The regular hourly rate of pay and overtime compensa-
t~on for employees working in job classes listed in Section 1
of this Resolution shall be computed as provided in Personnel
Rule 5, Hours of Work and Pay Day, and Personnel Rule 6, Pre-
mium Pay.
SECTION 4.
The provisions of this Resolution shall supersede
Resolution No. 72R-468 and amendments thereto.
SECTION S.

The effective date of this Resolution shall be October
