RESOLUTION NO. 73R- 472
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF h~AHEIM APPROVING THE ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF ~~~iEIM OF THE TERRITORY
KNOvm Al~D DESIGNATED AS BALL-GILBERT
h\lNEXATION.
hmEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission
authorized the City of Anaheim to annex the territory known
and designated as BALL-GILBERT h\lNEXATION without notice and
hearing and without an election pursuant to the authority
vested in said Commission by Section 54797.1 of the
Government Code; and
~mEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to
said City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange, State
of California, and is contiguous to the City of P~aheim, and is
inhabited territory. That said consent contained a description
of said territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this
resolution described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
authorized to approve said annexation by resolution without
notice and hearing pursuant to the approval of said Local
Agency Formation Commission and Section 54797.1 of the Govern-
ment Code.
NOVJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim finds:
That the City of Anaheim submitted proof satisfact-
ory to the Local Agency Formation Commission that all of the
owners of land within the territory proposed to be annexed have
given their signed consent to such annexation. That said ter-
ritory proposed to be annexed to said City of Anaheim is
situated in the County of Orange, State of California, and is
contiguous to the City of Anaheim, and is inhabited territory.
That said consent signed by all of the owners of land within
the territory proposed to be annexed contained a description of
said territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this
resolution described.
That the City of Anaheim filed said request to annex
said territory, containing the specific boundaries of the terri-
tory to be annexed, with the Local Agency Formation Commission
and said Local Agency Formation Commission approved said annex-
ation request of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section 54797.1
of the Government Code.

That on the 12th day of September, 1973, the Local
Agency Formation Co~~ission duly adopted Resolution No. 73~.142
in which said Commission authorized the City of Anaheim to annex
said territory in accordance with Section 54797.1 of the Govern-
ment Code and further approved such annexation of said territory
without notice, hearing or election.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the annexation of the
territory included ~vithin the boundaries of the BALL"GILBERT
ANNEXATION, more particularly described as follows, to wit:

That certain parcel of land located in the County of
Orange, State of California, lying within a portion
of the Southeast quarter of Section 18, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M., described as fol-
lml1s:
Beginning at a point in the existing City limit line
of the City of Anaheim as established by the Gilbert
Street No.-2 Annexation to said City, said point being
distant N 000 37' 0011 E, 202.52 feet; S 890 22' 14" E,
15.00 feet from the southwest corner of the Southeast
quarter of Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. & M.~ thence N 00037' 00" E, 562,69 feet fol-
lowing along a Dortion of the east annexation boundary
line of said annexation to an intersection with the -"
westerly prolongation of the north line of Lot 50 of
Tract No. 2563 as shown on a map recorded in Book 78,
pages 18 and 19, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County; thence S 890 22' 14" E, 313.40 feet
leaving said annexation boundary and following along
said westerly prolongation and the north line of said
Lot 50, and the north line of Lots 49, 48 and 47 of
said Tract to the northeast corner of said Lot 47;
thence S 000 37' 4611 v~, 110.00 feet along the easterly
line of said Lot 47 to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 25 feet northerly of the centerline
of Mystic Lane as shown on the man of said Tract 2563;
thence S 890 22' 14" E, 158.00 fe~t along said parallel
line to the beginning of a tangent curve concave north-
westerly and having a radius of 13.00 feet; thence
easterly, northeasterly, and northerly along said curve
through a central angle of 900 DO' Don an arc distance
of 20.42 feet to an intersection with a line parallel
with and 30 feet westerly of the centerline of Harvest
Lane as shown on the map of said Tract 2563; thence
S 000 37' 46" \tV, 222.84 feet along said parallel line
to the northeast corner of Lot 58 of said Tract 2563;
thence N 890 22' 14" N, 99.00 feet along the north line
of said Lot 58 to the northwest corner thereof; thence
S 000 37' 46" 'itJ, 242.85 feet along the west line of
said Lot 58 and the west line of Lots 59 and 60 all of
said Tract 2563 and the southerly prolongation thereof
to an intersection with the centerline of that certain
20-foot wide alley shown on the map of said Tract 2563;
thence N 890 22' l4tl ~1, 385.27 feet along said center-
line to the point of beginning.

is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to and
incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, and is hereby designated as the BALL..GILBERT
M~NEXATION to the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER PBSOLVED that from and after the date
of the adoption of this resolution and the filing of a certified
COPy thereof with the Secretary of State of the State of
California, the annexation of the territory herein described
shall be deemed to be and shall be complete and thenceforth such
annexed territory shall be, to all intents and purposes, a part

of the City of Anaheim, and from and after the effective date
of such annexation, all property therein shall be subject to tax-
ation equally with the property within the City of Anaheim and
shall be taxed to pay its proportionate share of the existing
indebtedness and liability of said City of Anaheim contracted
prior to or existing at the time of such annexation pursuant to
the written consent of the owners of property in said annexed
territory filed with the Clerk of the City of Anaheim prior to
the adoption of this resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
