RESOLUTION NO. 73R-~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING CERTAIN PERSONS TO ACT
FOR THE CITY OF ANAHEIM IN CONNECTION WITH
SMALL CLAIMS ACTIONS; AND SUPERSEDING RESOLU-
TION NO. 68R-l14.
~VHEP~AS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find and determine that it is necessary in the normal course of
business in the City'of Anaheim to instigate, prosecute, and con-
summate litigation ~nvolving small ~aounts, the jurisdiction of
which is vested in the Small Claims Court, being amounts of less
than $500.00; and .
WHEREAS, it is deemed by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that certain City employees should be authorized to
act in the City's behalf in connection with Small Claims actions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the following named persons, to wit:
Joel Baker
Norman S. Barker
William J. Chirinos
Jim Dooley
Carol R. Ennis
Paul Howard
Albert L. Merriam
Donald R. Metzger
Isamu Morita
Frank Oswald
George E. Schrader
Cordelia L. Short
Gerald L. Stec
Hartel Thompson
be, and the same are hereby, authorized to commence, prosecute,
and consummate Small Claims lit.iga tion for, in behalf of, and
in the name of the City of Anaheim, and that they, and each of
them, are authorized to file Small Claims petitions, to appear
at Small Claims hearings, to represent the City, and to file
satisfaction of judgment in Small Claims actions, and to do any
and all other L~ings necessary and convenient in the processing
of Small Claims actions.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 68R-114
be, and it is hereby, superseded by the foregoing resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 2nd day of October , 1973.
