RESOLUTION NO. 73R-~._
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREE!'.1ENT WITH
GRISSOM & JOffi~SON RELATING TO WORK ORDER NO.
"5602. (Cerritos and Ball Road)
WHEREAS, under Work Order~o. 5602, calling for the
relocation of electric (12 kV circuit) lines due to street
widening on Walnut Street between Cerritos and Ball Road, it is
essentia:l that the ,^,o'rki:J1ereon be performed imrnediately;: and
WHEREAS, because of a temporary shortage of City per-
sonnel and the burden of accomplishing the Edison Company take--
over, the City is unable to perform the work within the proper
time schedule; and
WHEF.RA's, Grissom & Johnson ,electrical contractors,
presently have the manpower and equip~ent to accomplish the
work and have offered to do the Sillne for an amount not to exceed
$11,000.00, all in accord with their letter agreement of October
1, 1973; and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds tllat said electrical
contractors are capable and tllat it is in tile best interests
of the City to enter into an agreement with said Grissom &
Johnson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and City Clerk 'be, and they
are hereby, authorized and directed to execute that certain
letter agreement with Grissom & Johnson, electrical contractors,
dated October 1, 1973.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 2nd day of October, 1973.
