RESOLUTION NO. 73R 439

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
CITY OF GARDEN GROVE RELATIVE TO THE
RECONSTRUCTION OF KATELLA AVENUE.
WHEREAS, a portion of Katella Avenue which is a
part of the Select System of Highways in both Anaheim and
Garden Grove lies partly within Anaheim and partly in
Garden Grove; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim intends to reconstruct
Katella Avenue within said area from Walnut Street to 1321 feet
west of Brookhur~t Street; and
WHEREAS, Garden Grove and Anaheim have agreed to the
sharing of reconstruction costs thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they
are authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the city of
Anaheim that certain agreement between .the City of Anaheim and
Garden Grove relating to the reconstruction of Katella Avenue.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 25th day of September , 1973.
