RESOLUTION NO. 73R- 417
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS ~1D CONDITIONS
OF AGREEMENT NO. C792 WITH THE ORANGE COUNTY
FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT IN CONNECTION WITH
STATE COLLEGE STOID4 DRAIN CONSTRUCTION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXE-
CUTE SAID AGREill1ENT.
WHEREAS, the frequency of flooding that occurs on
State College Boulevard between South Street and Underhill
Street indicates the need for construction of a portion of
State College Storm Drain (Facility No. E12POl) to properly
divert storm runoff to the existing terminus of said storm
drain; and
WHEREAS, City recognizes said flood hazard; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District
has tendered to the City of Anaheim an agreement covering the
cost of sharing the expense thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the City to enter into said agreement sharing
equitably in the costs thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they
are hereby, authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the
City of Anaheim that certain Agreement No. C792 with the Orange
County Flood Control District in connection with the construction
of a portion of State College Storm Drain (Facility No. E12POl).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be,
and he is hereby, authorized and directed to make payments when
and as specified in said Agreement No. C792.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 18th day of September, 1973.
