1974-205A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING RESOLUTION 74 R -95 AND ESTABLISHING NEW RATES
OF PAY FOR SEVERAL PART -TIME JOB CLASSIFICATIONS.
WHEREAS, the coverage of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938,
as amended, is being extended to municipal employers effective May 1,
1974, and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Director has recommended in a staff
report dated April 25, 1974 that certain new rates of pay be established
to comply with minimum wage sections of the Act, and
WHEREAS, the need exists to amend resolution 74 R -95 which
established rates of pay for part -time classifications, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
the adoption of these recommended pay rates is in the best interests of
the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the recommended pay rates be adopted, as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except to the extent amended,
Resolution 74 R -95 shall remain in full force and effect, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this
resolution shall be May 1, 1974.
