A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AND SKY CHOPPERS, INC.,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF
THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is one of several
publicly owned electric utilities involved in studying the
feasibility of construction and operation of a coal -fired
generating plant in South Central Utah; and
WHEREAS, said project is known as the Intermountain
Power Project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary, in order to locate specific
sites for said generating plant, to conduct recognizance flights
of the Caineville and Escalante sites referred to in the
Intermountain Power Project Membership and Study Agreement; and
WHEREAS, Sky Choppers, Inc., has submitted a proposal
to furnish aircraft capable of flying said recognizance flights;
and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City and
the members of the Intermountain Power Project to hire
Sky Choppers, Inc., to furnish said aircraft.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an agree-
ment between the City of Anaheim and Sky Choppers, Inc., dated
April 24, 1974, be and the same are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that
are hereby authorized to execute said
City of Anaheim.
