RESOLUTION NO. 74R- 186
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING CERTAIN EASEMENTS FOR
PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT
THEREFOR (RIGHT OF WAY NO. 247-21 AND 202 -5).
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to acquire easements
for public street purposes upon, under and across certain land
in the City of Anaheim owned by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa
Fe Railway Company; and
WHEREAS, the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company has tendered to the City of Anaheim fully executed deeds
of easement conveying easements for public street purposes across
railroad rights -of at its intersections with La Palma Ave.
and Anaheim Road (now Miraloma Avenue) (Crossings Nos. 2N -1.1 and
2N -0.6); and
WHEREAS, said deeds are necessary for the extension
and /or widening of said La Palma Avenue and Anaheim Road (now
Miraloma Avenue),
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it accept, and it does hereby accept
those certain deeds of easement from the Atchison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railway Company covering the easements hereinafter
described.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
acceptance of said deeds and to forward a certified copy of
this resolution to the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director is
authorized and directed to pay to the Atchison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railway Company the sum of $300.00 as consideration
for said deeds of easement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby authorized and directed to cause said deeds
of easement to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 16th day of April 1974.
