WHEREAS, the Cities of Anaheim and Buena Park both
maintain and operate fire protection organizations in their
respective cities; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of said Cities to render
aid, each to the other, to combat the effect of fire when
such aid is necessary; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared to be made
and entered into between the Cities of Anaheim and Buena Park
upon the terms and conditions therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said agreement
is satisfactory and would be for the benefit and in the best
interest of the City, and should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
agreement between Anaheim and Buena Park relating to emergency
fire alarms be, and the same are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to exe-
cute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 9th day of April 1974.
