WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did commence an action
to condemn certain facilities of the Southern California Edison
Company on October 31, 1972 (Case No. 197120 Orange County
Superior Court); and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did, on December 12,
1972, enter into an agreement with the Southern California
Edison Company whereby adjustments would be made for additions
or removals of electrical distribution facilities subsequent
to the date of inventory used as a basis for the award in said
action in condemnation; and
WHEREAS, certain installations and removals were, in
fact, made subsequent to the date of inventory as set forth in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated by reference
herein; and
WHEREAS, it is mutually agreed between the City of
Anaheim and the Southern California Edison Company that the
value of said additions or removals is $36,254.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it authorize, and it does hereby
authorize the issuance of Purchase Requisition No. 1789 to the
Southern California Edison Company in the amount of $36,254.00.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 9th day of April, 1974.
