RESOLUTION NO. 74R- 164
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A LEASE FOR AGRICULTURAL
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, John Parrish, Walter Brewer and Brian Taylor,
dba Anaheim Wholesale Nurseries, have offered to lease certain
City property located on the west side of Ninth Street, north
of Laster Avenue, for agricultural purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that said property will not be developed until at least
April 15, 1977; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the
best interests of the City to lease said property for agricul-
tural purposes until such time as it can be developed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City lease said property to John
Parrish, Walter Brewer and Brian Taylor, DBA Anaheim Wholesale
Nurseries for a period of three years, with an option to renew
thereafter on a year -to -year basis subject to the consent of
the City, for a consideration of One Hundred Fifty Dollars
($150.00) per acre per year.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute on
behalf of the City, that certain Lease between the City of
Anaheim and John Parrish, Walter Brewer and Brian Taylor, DBA
Anaheim Wholesale Nurseries.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 9th day of April, 1974.
