A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT
TO THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS GENERAL
PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 131, EXHIBIT "A
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim, adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of February, 1974, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment, and did continue
said public hearing to the 4th day of March, 1974. The
General Plan Amendment does consider changing the land use
designation from Industrial to Medium Density Residential for
an area generally designated as between the easterly City
limits and the Santa Ana River, and Ball Road and Cerritos Avenue
in accordance with Exhibits presented to the Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, at said continued public hearing, the City
Planning Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC74 -47
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that said amend-
ment to the General Plan designated as Amendment No. 131 be
adopted by the City Council, changing the land use designation
for the aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "A and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 19th day of
March, 1974 as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the
City Hall as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 131; and did continue said hearing to the 9th day
of April, 1974, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the continued time and place fixed for
said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct
such public hearing, and did give all persons interested therein
an opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports
and did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City
Planning commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 131, Exhibit "A changing the land use designation
in the area described aforesaid, should be approved in accordance
with said Exhibit "A" on file in the City Planning Commission as
recommended by the Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 131 to the General
Plan, changing the land use designation in the area generally
located between the easterly City limits and the Santa Ana
River, and Ball Road and Cerritos Avenue in accordance with Exhibit
"A" on file in the City Planning Commission be, and the same is
hereby approved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Development Services
Department be, and it is hereby instructed to amend the General
Plan Map to conform to General Plan Amendment No. 131, Exhibit
"A" herein approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th day of April, 1974.
