1974-133WHEREAS, on the 26th day of February, 1974, the
City Council of the City of Anaheim, pursuant to Resolution
74R -87 authorized the City of Anaheim to enter into a
Joint Powers Agreement between the County of Orange and
the cities of Santa Ana, Huntington Beach and Garden Grove
to create the'Orange County Manpower Commission; and
WHEREAS, the United States Government has proposed
certain changes to said Joint Powers Agreement; and
WHEREAS, as a result of said proposed changes, it
is necessary to amend the Joint Powers Agreement between the
parties; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to said Joint Powers Agreement
has this day been submitted to the City, the terms and
conditions whereof are satisfactory to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
amendment to the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement for the
Orange County Manpower Commission, this day submitted, be
and the same are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf
of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
