1974-125RESOLUTION NO. 74R- 125 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON- MENT OF PORTIONS OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did on the 26th day of February, 1974, declare by Resolution No. 74R -83 its intention to vacate and abandon a former Edison Company easement located at the west side of Velare Street, south of Orange, in the City of Anaheim, more fully hereinafter described, and did set the 19th day of March, 1974, for a public hearing thereon; and WHEREAS, on said 19th day of March, 1974, at 1:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence submitted at said public hearing that portions of the real property described herein and in said Resolution of Intention are unnecessary for present or prospective roadway and alley purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim: 1 That it finds that said public hearing was properly held and that all notices were given and publica- tions made as required by law. 2. That those portions of the real property toward which a request for vacation and abandonment was directed are not necessary for present or prospec- tive roadway and alley purposes and does hereby order that said portions, as herein set forth, be and they are hereby vacated, abandoned and closed to public use. 3. That said portions of real property herein ordered vacated, abandoned and closed to public use are situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and are more particularly described as follows, to wit: That portion of a public utility easement located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California described in deed recorded in Book 2089, page 328 Official Records of Orange County, California described as the Northerly 192.78 feet of the following described 2 foot line to be abandoned the centerline of which is described as follows: Beginning at a point in the west line of the East half of the West half of the Northwesterly of the Southwesterly of Section 18, Township 4 South Range 10 West in the Rancho Los Coyotes as shown on a map 73 -8A ATTEST: recorded in Book 51 page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps records of Orange County California said point of beginning is distant 11 feet Northerly measured from thereon from the Southwesterly corner of said East half, thence easterly parallel with said Southerly line a distance of 75 feet thence Norther- ly parallel with said West line a distance of 786 feet to the point of terminus of the line described herein. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and she is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
