RESOLUTION NO. 74R- 112
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A PIPELINE LICENSE AND
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT THEREFOR. (Water Line
at Lakeview and Orangethorpe)
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has requested permission
from the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company to
construct a water pipeline under the Atchison, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railway tracks in the vicinity of Lakeview Avenue;
and
WHEREAS, the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company has submitted to the City of Anaheim its "Pipeline
License" which has been reviewed and has been found to be
satisfactory and in the best interest of the City of Anaheim;
and
WHEREAS, the compensation sought for said Pipeline
License in the amount of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150.00)
is fair and reasonable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf
of the City of Anaheim that certain Pipeline License Agreement
submitted by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to draw a warrant in
favor of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company
in the amount of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150.00) and
that the same be forwarded to the Office of the City Attorney
for transmittal to the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 12th day of 1974.
