RESOLUTION NO. 74R- 108
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A SURPLUS COUNTY OF
ORANGE FIRE TRUCK, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR
TRANSFER AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange is in possession of
a 1953 GMC fire truck which is no longer required for County
use; and
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of using said fire
truck and locating said truck in the Santa Ana Canyon Fire
Station; and
WHEREAS, said fire truck may be mutually used for
purposes beneficial to both City and the County of Orange at
the Santa Ana Canyon Fire Station; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been submitted as author-
ized by Government Code Section 25365, the terms and conditions
whereof are satisfactory to the City; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Anaheim to enter into said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that that certain agreement this day
submitted for the acquisition of County Unit 5103, 1953 Fire
Truck, 6 cylinder, Food Machinery Model No. 75AH75G31., equipped
with 750 GPM pump, Serial No. J- 39813, and 500- gallon water
tank be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 12th day of March 1974.
