1974-091RESOLUTION NO. 74R -91 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM SUPERSEDING RESOLUTION NO. 72R -51 AND AMENDING RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR VARIOUS CLASSIFICATIONS OF PART -TIME EMPLOYEES NOW EMPLOYED AT THE PARKING LOT OF ANAHEIM STADIUM AND ANAHEIM CONVENTION CENTER. WHEREAS, the City Manager and Personnel Director have met with and discussed salaries for certain classifications of part -time employees with representatives of the General Truck Drivers Union, Local 235, regarding adjustments of such classifications represented by said Union; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and Personnel Director have agreed to recommend, and have recommended to the City Council salary adjust- ments for classifications as set forth below. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the compensation plan for the classifications of employment listed below shall be allocated compensation rates as follows: Parking Lot Attendant Parking Lot Attendant Captain Head Parking Lot Attendant (per diem) Parking Lot Cashier Parking Lot Cashier- Captain Head Parking Lot Cashier (per diem) 2 -18 -74 to 2 -17 -75 to 2 -16 -76 to 2 -16 -75 2 -15 -76 2 -13 -77 3.28 3.78 27.55 3.38 3.88 27.55 3.38 3.88 28.05 3.48 3.98 28.05 3.48 3.98 28.55 3.58 4.08 28.55 Head Parking Lot Attendant and Head Parking Lot Cashier shall be paid on a per diem basis and shall not be restricted to any specific hours but as required by ANAHEIM for each event. Head Parking Lot Attendant and Head Parking Lot Cashier shall also receive $3.00 additional compensation for double headers. The hourly rate classifications shall be on a four (4) hour guarantee. For time worked in excess of four (4) hours, employees in said classifi- cations shall be paid straight time overtime based on the applicable hourly rates to be computed in quarter -hour units. In the event an employee works separate events at both locations (Anaheim Stadium and Convention Center) on the same day, the aforesaid four -hour guarantee shall apply to each of said events. For time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day, employees shall be paid time and one -half based on the applicable hourly rates to be computed in quarter hour units. This overtime provision shall apply whenever an employee shall have actually worked in excess of eight (8) hours in either one or both locations during the same day. Employees shall be paid time and one -half their regular hourly rate for all work performed in connection with World Series Games and All Star Games. In case of rain out or cancellation of event, and if ANAHEIM does not give reasonable notice, either personally or through public communi- cations, ANAHEIM will pay to per diem employees one -half (2) day's pay if the employee reports for work and full pay if the gates are open, and to hourly employees two (2) hour's pay if the employee reports for work and four (4) hours' pay if the gates are open. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the.effective date of this Resolution shall be February 18, 1974, on condition that the repre- sentatives of the General Truck Drivers Union, Local 235 concur in writing the recommendations of the City Management Representative which were proposed prior to February 26, 1974, to the City Council as they relate to the terms and conditions of employment.
