A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING':TO THE COUNTY
OF ORANGE HEALTH DEPARTMENT ENFORCEMENT
OF PUBLIC HEALTH. LAWS.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange Health Department has,
for many years, functioned as a Health Department for the.
City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City of. Anaheim, by
resolution, consent to the County Health officers' enforcement
of City Health Ordinances and other pertinent orders, rules
and regulations of the State Health and Safety Code; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to consent to the County Health Department enforcement
of City Health Ordinances and appropriate State codes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that:
Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 476,
the City Council of the City. of Anaheim hereby
consents to the enforcement and observance by
the County Health Officer in the City of Anaheim
of orders, quarantine regulations, and rules
prescribed by the State Department of Health;
other rules and regulations issued under the
provisions of the Health and Safety Code; and
statutes relating to the public health.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
