1974-083RESOLUTION NO. 74R-- $3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has elected to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the Government Code, in connection with a request for vacation and abandonment of a former Edison Company easement located at the West side of Velare Street, South of Orange, in the City of Anaheim, and more fully hereinafter described. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to vacate, abandon and close to public use that certain ease- ment located at the West side of Velare Street, South of Orange, in the City of Anaheim, for public utility purposes as it may relate to the following described property: That portion of a public utility easement located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California described in deed recorded in Book 2089, page 328 Official Records of Orange County, California described as the Northerly 192.78 feet of the following described 2 foot line to be abandoned the centerline of which is described as follows: Beginning at a point in the west line of the East half of the West half of the Northwesterly of the Southwesterly of Section 18, Township 4 South Range 10 West in the Rancho Los Coyotes as shown on a map recorded in Book 51 page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps records of Orange County California said point of beginning is distant 11 feet Northerly measured from thereon from the Southwesterly corner of said East half, thence easterly parallel with said Southerly line a distance of 75 feet thence Norther- ly parallel with said West line a distance of 786 feet to the point of terminus of the line described herein. and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5, of the Government Code. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 19th day of March 1974, at 1;30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim. -1- 73 -8A THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 26th day of February, 1974.
