A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A NEW
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
ESTABLISHING THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR
EMPLOYEES IN CLASSIFICATIONS
REPRESENTED BY THE ANAHEIM
FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION, LOCAL NO.
2899
WHEREAS, Chapter 1.06 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
establishes the employer-employee relations system for the City;
and
WHEREAS, Section 1.06.100 of Chapter 1.06 of said Code
requires a Memorandum of Understanding to be presented to the
City Council or its statutory representative for determination;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that accepting a new Memorandum of Understanding executed on
December 11, 1990, is in the best interest of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Memorandum of Understanding between
the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Firefighters Association,
Local No. 2899, executed by the City Management Representative
and the Anaheim Firefighters Association, Local No. 2899, on
December 11, 1990, as set forth in the document attached hereto
and incorporated by reference herein, is hereby accepted with the
effective date thereof to be July 6, 1990.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 11th day of
December , 1990.
