RESOLUTION NO. 74R- 50
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM PERMITTING THE ORANGE UNIFIED
SCHOOL DISTRICT TO UTILIZE ANAHEIM HILLS
GOLF COURSE FOR THE CANYON HIGH SCHOOL GOLF
TEAM.
WHEREAS, the Orange Unified School District has
requested permission to utilize Anaheim Hills Golf Course
for its Canyon High School Golf Team play; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City Council of
the City of Anaheim to cooperate with the school districts
and permit the use of the Anaheim Hills Golf Course for
high school team play when possible; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it is
in the best interests of the City of Anaheim that the Orange
Unified School District Canyon High School Golf Team should
be permitted at the Anaheim Hills Golf Course on certain days
and at certain times.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Orange Unified School Dis-
trict Canyon High School be, and it is hereby permitted to
have student team play for its varsity and junior varsity
team for a fee of $200.00 at starting times commencing at
8:30 A.M. on Monday through Friday, beginning February 1,
1974, and ending May 31, 1974.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in the event golf carts
are desired by Canyon High School, they shall pay the full
daily charge for the use of carts.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that at the end of this
school year, this resolution shall automatically terminate
without further action by the City Council.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 5th day of February, 1974.
