A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR
HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service
Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the
Government Code, in connection with a request for vacation and
abandonment of a drainage easement located east of Lakeview,
north of Riverside Freeway, within Lot 15, Tract No. 7370, in
the City of Anaheim, and more fully hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use that certain easement
located east of Lakeview, north of Riverside Freeway, within
Lot 15, Tract No. 7370, in the City of Anaheim, for public
utility purposes as it may relate to the following described
property:
That portion of an existing drainage easement located
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, described as being a portion of Lot 15
in Tract 7370, as shown on a map recorded in Book
320, pages 39 and 40, Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, described as follows:
The westerly 3.00 feet of the easterly 23.00 feet of
Lot 15 of Tract 7370, in the City of Anaheim, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 320, pages 39 and 40,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
Excepting therefrom the northerly 5 feet thereof.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Public
Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5,
of the Government Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 19th day of
February 1974, at 1:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council
Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the
Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
