1974-019RESOLUTION NO. 74R- 19
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
on the 26th day of December, 1973, declare by Resolution No.
73R -614 its intention to vacate and abandon certain property
described herein, and did set the 22nd day of January, 1974, for
a public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, on said 22nd day of January, 1974, at 1:30
o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City
of Anaheim, said public hearing was held; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from the evidence sub-
mitted at said public hearing that that certain easement located
approximately at the southeast corner of Anaheim Boulevard and
Lorraine Drive in the City of Anaheim is unnecessary for present
or prospective public utility purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim:
1. That it finds that said public hearing was properly
held and that all notices were given and publica-
tions made as required by law.
2. That that portion of the real property toward
which a request for vacation and abandonment was
directed is not necessary for present or prospec-
tive public utility purposes and does hereby order
that said portion as herein set forth be, and it
is vacated, abandoned and closed to public use.
3. That said portion of real property herein ordered
vacated, abandoned and closed to public use is
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, and is more particularly
described as follows, to wit:
That portion of an existing public utility easement
located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be abandoned described as
follows:
The southerly 5 feet of Lot 2 in Tract No. 1379, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 43, pages 6 and 7,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified
copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the
seal of the City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of
the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
