1974-003RESOLUTION NO. 74R -3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM PERMITTING THE ANAHEIM UNION HIGH
SCHOOL DISTRICT TO UTILIZE THE ANAHEIM MUNI-
CIPAL AND THE ANAHEIM HILLS GOLF COURSE.
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Union High School District
has in previous years requested and received permission for
the Anaheim High School District to utilize the Anaheim
Municipal Golf Course for its high school golf team play;
and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Union High School District
desires to use the Anaheim Hills Golf Course for its high
school golf team play; and
WHEREAS, permitting the Anaheim Union High School
District to utilize both golf courses permits a flexibility
of scheduling that is desirable for the City of Anaheim and
the Anaheim Union High School District; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it is in
the best interests of the City of Anaheim that the Anaheim
Union High School Golf Team should be permitted to play both
the Anaheim Municipal and the Anaheim Hills Golf Courses on
certain days and at certain times.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Anaheim Union High School
District be, and it is hereby, permitted to have student
team play a maximum of eight foursomes from Anaheim, Katella,
Kennedy, Loara, Magnolia, Savanna, and Western High Schools
for a fee of $1,000.00 for the seven high schools at eight
starting times commencing at 1:53 P.M. Monday through Friday,
commencing January 28 and ending May 31, 1974.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that at the end of this
school year this Resolution shall automatically terminate
without further action by the City Council.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 2nd day of January, 1974.
