1974-462WHEREAS, the Orange County Water District has
offered to purchase certain City -owned property located on
the east side of Lakeview Street, south of La Palma Avenue;
and
WHEREAS, said property is surplus and is not needed
for any public purpose of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Water District has
offered $27,200.00 for said property; and
WHEREAS, said amount equals the appraised value of
said property; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer to purchase said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby accept said offer to
purchase said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute a
deed to said property in favor of the Orange County Water
District and to deliver said deed to the City Attorney's Office
for transmittal upon receipt of the $27,200.00 purchase price.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signd by me
