A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT
NO. 134, EXHIBIT "A SCENIC HIGHWAY ELEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim, adopted a General Plan for said City; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing in the City of Anaheim on August 19, 1974,
to consider an amendment to the General Plan by adding
thereto a Scenic Highway Element, and to receive evidence
and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, following said hearing, the Planning
Commission did duly adopt Resolution No. PC74 -181, containing
a report of its findings, a summary of evidence presented at
said hearing, and a recommendation that said amendment to the
General Plan designated as Amendment No. 134, Exhibit "A
Scenic Highway Element, be adopted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary
of evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the
City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 10th
day of September, 1974, as the time and the City Council
Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed Amendment No. 134,
Exhibit "A Scenic Highway Element, to the General Plan,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by
law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports
and thereupon considered the recommendations of the City
Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that Amendment No. 134, Exhibit "A Scenic Highway Element to
the General Plan, should be adopted as recommended by the City
Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 134, Exhibit "A
Scenic Highway Element be, and the same is, hereby adopted and
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the General Plan as
adopted is hereby amended by adding thereto a Scenic Highway
Element as shown in Exhibit "A" on file in the office of the
City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby,
authorized and directed to transmit a copy of this resolution
and such supporting documents as may be required by law to
the agency of the State of California authorized by law to
receive same.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 10th day of September, 1974.
