RESOLUTION NO. 74R -425
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DESIGNATING THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT COMMUNICATIONS CENTER AS THE
PUBLIC SAFETY ANSWERING POINT IN CONNEC-
TION WITH COUNTYWIDE 911 TASK FORCE.
WHEREAS, the. Board of Supervisors of Orange County
has adopted a resolution inviting all cities which wish to
participate in a Countywide 911 System to make known to the
County the proper designated Public Safety Answering Point;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does desire to participate
in said 911 System; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Anaheim
Police Department Communications Center should be the Public
Safety Answering Point for said 911 System.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Anaheim Police Department
Communications Center be, and it is hereby, designated as the
Public Safety Answering Point for the 911 System in the City
of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to transmit this Reoolution immediately
to the Board of Supervisors of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 27th day of August, 1974.
