1974-407WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is in need of a service
agent to supervise and administer its program of self- insurance
for its liability to its employees pursuant to the Workmen's
Compensation Laws of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, R. L. Kautz Co., a Division of Pinehurst
Corp., is qualified to render such supervision and administration
services for the City's Workmen's Compensation self- insurance
program and desires to be employed for such purpose pursuant to
this agreement; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms
and conditions of which are satisfactory to the City of Anaheim;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it would be in the best interests of the City to enter into
said agreement with R. L. Kautz Co., a Division of Pinehurst
Corp., and that the same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an agree-
ment employing R. L. Kautz Co., a Division of Pinehurst Corp.,
to perform services in connection with the supervision and admin-
istration of the City's Workmen's Compensation self- insurance
program be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 20th day of August, 1974.
