1974-406WHEREAS, Tracts Nos. 4321, 5000, 5058, 6303 and
5019 are presently included within Sherwood County Street
Lighting Maintenance District; and
WHEREAS, said tracts by reason of annexation are
now included within the City limits of the City of Anaheim;
and
RESOLUTION NO. 74R -406
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM REQUESTING THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN
TRACTS FROM THE SHERWOOD COUNTY STREET LIGHTING
MAINTENANCE DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is presently serving
electrical power to said tracts and to the street lighting
facilities therein, and is the owner of said street lighting
facilities; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Anaheim
that said tracts be excluded from said County Street Lighting
Maintenance Districts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it request, and it does hereby
request the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange to
exclude said tracts from the respective Districts in which
they are located.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Board of Super-
visors of the County of Orange be requested, and they are hereby
requested to take the steps necessary to exclude said tracts
from the Sherwood County Street Lighting Maintenance District.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy
of this Resolution be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 20th day of August 1974.
