A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
AND ABANDON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING
A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service
Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the
Government Code, in connection with a request for vacation and
abandonment of an existing public utility easement located at
the north side of Lincoln Avenue, east of Gilbert Street, in
the City of Anaheim, and more fully hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use that portion of an
existing easement located at the north side of Lincoln Avenue,
east of Gilbert Street, in the City of Anaheim, for public
utility purposes as it may relate to the following described
property:
That portion of an existing public utility easement
located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be abandoned, described as
follows:
The northerly 5 feet and the westerly 5 feet of the
northerly 226 feet of the southerly 266.00 feet of
the westerly 220.00 feet of the east half of the
Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section
7, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Public
Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5,
of the Government Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear-
ing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vaca-
tion and abandonment has been fixed on the 3rd day of September
1974, at 1 :30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the
Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed,
published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of August, 1974.
