1974-394RESOLUTION NO. 74R- 394 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING THEREON. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has elected to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the Government Code, in connection with a request for vacation and abandonment of existing public utility easements located at the north side of La Palma Avenue, west of West Street, lying with- in Tract No. 1691, in the City of Anaheim, and more fully here- inafter described. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to vacate, abandon and close to public use those portions of exist- ing easements located at the north side of La Palma Avenue, west of West Street, lying within Tract No. 1691, in the City of Anaheim, as they may relate to the following described property, to wit: Those certain public utility easements located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be abandoned all lying within Tract No. 1691, as shown on a map recorded in Book 52, pages 18 and 19, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, de- cribed as follows: Parcel One: The easterly 6 feet of Lots 1 through 11. Parcel Two: The northerly 6 feet of Lots 11 through lb and the westerly 5 feet of Lot 17. Parcel Three: The spandrel area located in the northeast corner of Lot 11 as shown on the map of said Tract No. 1691. Parcel Four: The southerly 5 feet of Lot 7 and the nor- therly 5 feet of Lot 6. Parcel Five: The northerly 5 feet of Lots 41 and 49. Parcel Six: The westerly 5 feet of Lots 41 through 46. Except Lot 45. Parcel Seven: The southerly 5 feet of the west 60 feet of Lot 44 and the northerly 5 feet of Lot 46. Parcel Eight: The easterly 5 feet of Lots 47, 48 and 49. Parcel Nine: The southerly 5 feet of Lots 38 through 40. Parcel Ten: The northerly 6 feet of Lombard Drive lying between Lots 11 and 12. All of the above easements to be abandoned are as shown on the map of said Tract No. 1691. 73 -5A and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5, of the Government Code. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear- ing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vaca- tion and abandonment has been fixed on the 3rd day of September 1974, at 1:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall cause the same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
