RESOLUTION NO. 74R -388
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM NAMING THE ORANGE COUNTY HEALTH
DEPARTMENT AS THE AGENCY TO ENFORCE THE STATE
EMPLOYEE HOUSING ACT IN RELATION TO FARM LABOR
CAMPS.
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Orange County,
California, has adopted a resolution naming the County Health
Department as the agency to enforce the Employee Housing Act
in relation to farm labor camps in the unincorporated areas of
Orange County; and
WHEREAS, said Board of Supervisors has encouraged
each city in Orange County to name said Health Department as
the agency to perform said function in this City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that the Orange County Health Department would be the
most appropriate agency to perform said function in the City
of Anaheim.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Orange County Health Depart-
ment be, and the same is hereby, designated as the agency for
the City of Anaheim to enforce the Employee Housing Act in
relation to farm labor camps in the City of Anaheim effective
January 1, 1975.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that action is taken pursuant
to Section 2640 of the Labor Code and Title 25, Section 2012
of the California Administrative Code.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
cause two certified copies of this resolution to be forwarded
to the Department of Housing and Community Development in
Sacramento, California, as soon as possible.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 6th day of August, 1974.
