A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THERE
WERE NO BIDS RECEIVED ON THE DOUGLASS ROAD
PUMP STATION, WORK ORDER NO. 828.
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of June, 1974, Resolution
No. 74R -288 was adopted by the City Council finding and deter-
mining that public convenience and necessity required the
improvement and completion of the Douglass Road Pump Station,
Douglass Road at the A.T. S.F. Ry. Underpass, Work Order
No. 828; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 74R -288 did set the
llth day of July at the hour of 2 :00 o'clock P.M. as the
date and hour for the opening of said bids; and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City
Council that no bids were received on Work Order No. 828; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineering Department has recommended
that this work is no longer of necessity due to the possibility
of a proposed storm drain; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is in the best interests of the City that the work on
the Douglass Road Pump Station not be readvertised at a later
date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the work on the Douglass Road Pump
Station, Work Order No. 828, not be readvertised at a later date
upon the recommendation of the City Engineering Department and
that no further action be taken at this time.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 16th day of July, 1974.
