A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN LORD ELECTRIC COMPANY,
INCORPORATED, AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, DATED
NOVEMBER 15, 1973, APPROVING THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS THEREOF AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, on November 15, 1973, the City entered into
an agreement with Lord Electric Company, Incorporated, for
the construction of Phase I at Lewis 230 kV Substation in the
City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend said agreement to
permit Lord Electric Company to construct Phase II work of
said Lewis Substation; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to that certain agreement of
November 15, 1973, has been prepared, the terms and conditions
thereof are satisfactory to the City; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City to
enter into said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
agreement amending the agreement of November 15, 1973, between
the City of Anaheim and Lord Electric Company, Incorporated,
to permit said company to construct and complete Phase II work
of Lewis 230 kV Substation be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said amendment to agreement for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th day of July 1974.
