A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
74R -260 TO EXTEND THE BID DATE FOR WORK
ORDER NO, 812 (TWILA REID PARK IMPROVEMENT).
WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 4th day of June, 1974,
the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt Resolution
No, 74R -260 finding and determining that public convenience
and necessity required the construction and completion of the
Twila Reid Park Improvement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did authorize and direct
the City Clerk to publish a notice according to law inviting
sealed proposals for the above- mentioned public improvement; and
WHEREAS, due to inadvertence and clerical error, said
Legal Notice was not published; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is for the
benefit and best interests of the City of Anaheim to amend
said Resolution No, 74R -260 to re-advertise the opening of
bids thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No, 74R -260, approved
on the 4th day of June, 1974, be and the same is hereby
amended to the following extent only;
1. That the opening of the bids shall be on the
llth day of July, 1974.
2. That the Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals shall be
published on June 27th and July 4th, 1974.
3. That the award of the contract will made on July
16, 1974,
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as hereinabove
amended, said Resolution No. 74R -260 shall remain in full force
and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 2nd day of July, 1974.
