A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND ARTHUR YOUNG
AND COMPANY FOR THE FURNISHING OF PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE CITY'S INVEST-
MENT PROGRAMS.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to provide for
the review of its investment of City funds; and
WHEREAS, the services to be rendered are of a type and
complexity requiring services of a professional and technical
character and are of a temporary nature; and
WHEREAS, Arthur Young &Company is a firm employing
licensed Certified Public Accountants who have experience and
knowledge in evaluating City's cash management and investment
programs; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms
and conditions of which are satisfactory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
agreement employing Arthur Young Company to perform profes-
sional services in connection with the review of the City's
cash management and investment programs, be and the same are
hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUION is approved and signed by
me this 18H4 day of dune 1974
