A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT C.L.D. 10833-8 WITH
THE LOS ANGELES AND SALT LAKE RAILROAD COMPANY
AND UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY AND AUTHORI-
ZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
AGREE 4ENT
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and the Los Angeles and
Salt Lake Railroad Company and its Lessee, Union Pacific Rail-
road Company, have entered into an agreement dated November 30,
1951, which is referred to as C.L.D. No. 10833, giving the City
the right to construct, maintain and operate certain power lines
over the property of the Railroad; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Railroad now desire to amend
said agreement, C.L,D. 10833, to allow the City to make certain
changes in its power line system; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said agreement
submitted to the City by said Railroad Companies to be made and
entered into between the City and the Los Angeles and Salt Lake
Railroad Company and its Lessee, Union Pacific Railroad Company,
would be for the benefit and best interest of the City and should
be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and condi-
tions of the Supplemental Agreement C.L.D. 10833 -8 be, and the
same are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be
and he is hereby, authorized to draw a warrant in the amount of
$50.00 and submit to the City Attorney for transmittal to the
Railroad for the purpose of additional rental for the remainder
of the term of the agreement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agreement
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 18th day of June 1974.
