local legislative body, regarding air quality; and
i7EERAS, a Draft Environmental Impact Report has been
submitted to the City of :Lnaheim as the local legislative body
in regard to the project known as Anaheim Forebay 7 :7astewater
Reclamation Project; and
1 27EREAS, the City of Anaheim has reviewed said Draft
Environmental Im-oact neport and finds that the growth associated
with the project will not o_revent the attainment •ofmaintenance
of air quality standards.
NOW, TEEPITFOTP,E, BE IT RESOLVED bv the City Council of
the City of 'Znaheim that t:71e legislative body recognizes.' that the
Rroject may interfere with the attainment or maintenance of air
7uality standards; but the 7oroject is needed to solve critical
water .r,ualitv problems and that the legislative hody recognizes
it may have to implement land use and transportation restrictions
in order to meet air ouality standards.
