Tr'T FRFAS, _heretofore, to wit, on the 7th day of 'F
1974, the City Council of the City of Anaheim lid adopt Reso-
lution No. 74a-213 finding and determining that public conven-
ience and necessity required the construction and completion
of the T'wila. 1,Zeid Park. Improvement; and
r ;-s:R A the City Council did authorize and direct
the City Clerk to publish a notice according to law inviting
sealed proposals for the above mentioned public improvement,
and fixing the 30th day of .lay, 1974, at the hour of 2 :00
o'clock P.M. as the date and hour for the opening of said
bids in the Council Chamber in the City Hall in the City of
Anaheim; and
+T 7flAS, upon said 37th day of ay, 1974, at the
hour of 2 :00 o'clock P.V'., the City Clerk and City Engineer
did open the bid received up to that hour, in pubic, in the
City all, in the City of Anaheim, and the City ncTineer did
review t-le bid. so received and din. report the result thereof
to the City Council at its regular meeting, held on the 4th
day of June,. 1974 and
:?IH J AS the City Council finds that the bid. received
is in excess of the estimate of the City Engineer of the cost
of said public iim rovement and is not representative (If actual
construction costs- that said bid should.. be rejected; and
that said job s'.ou_ld be readvertised at a later date.
NOW, THEREFORE, 3i: IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the bid received up to the hour
of 2 :00 o'clock on _ay 30, 1974, reviewed by the City
'3nrrineer and submitted. to the City Council on June 4th, 1974,
for the Twila 6± Park Improvement, r ork (rc er No. 12 T)F
and the same is herebv rejected, and that said job 'e r te_
advertised at a later date.
