A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. 2649.
WHEREAS, after a request for variance by WERNER and
JEAN FRANZ, owners, was received, a public hearing before the
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim was held upon due
and proper notice as a result of which Variance No. 2649 was
granted covering the following described property:
Lot 8 of Tract No. 1005, as per map recorded in Book 33,
Page 32 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California.
WHEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed by
law, an interested party or the City Council on its own motion
caused the review of said Planning Commission action at a pub-
lic hearing noticed and held as prescribed by law and as a
result thereof, the City Council does hereby make the following
findings:
1. There is no substantial property right possessed by
other property in the same vicinity and zone and
denied the subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be adequately
developed and used under the present zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Catty. Council of
the City of Anaheim that said Variance be, and the same is
hereby, denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 24th day of December, 1974.
