A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 73R -608, PERSONNEL RULE 17, SICK
LEAVE, SECTION 17.02, RELATING TO SICK LEAVE ACCRUAL FOR
CERTAIN DESIGNATED EMPLOYEES IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Personnel Director has met and conferred with
officials and employee representatives of the Anaheim Fire Association
to discuss wages and hours of work, and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolu-
tion No. 73R -608, Rule 17, which established sick leave provisions, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City
adoption of the recommended provisions is in the
City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the
of Anaheim that Resolution No. 73R -608, Rule 17,
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"RULE 17. SICK LEAVE
of Anaheim does find that
best interests of the
City Council of the City
Section 17.02 be and the
Section 17.02 Regular, full -time employees in the classified service
with an average regular work week of fifty -six and three tenths (56.3)
hours shall accrue paid sick leave at the rate of five (5) hours for
each complete biweekly pay period. In addition, each such employee
shall be credited with twenty -two (22) hours at the close of the final
complete biweekly pay period of each fiscal year."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except to the extent amended, Resolu-
tion No. 73R -608 shall remain in full force and effect, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this resolution
shall be December 27, 1974.
