1974-617WHEREAS, during the past several years, the City of
Anaheim has participated in the Four Cities Program, now renamed
the California Innovation Group (CIG); and
WHEREAS, the National Science Foundation had agreed
to fund $25,000 of the costs of the program; and
WHEREAS, the Institute for Local Self Government has
been authorized by the National Science Foundation to advance
the $25,000 to the City of Anaheim on the execution of an agree-
ment between the City of Anaheim and the Institute for Local
Self Government; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of the said agree-
ment are satisfactory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of the agree-
ment with the Institute for Local Government for the rendering
of resident professional services of a technological nature be,
and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to exe-
cute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 17th day of December 1974.
