1974-589A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM REQUESTING THAT 10% OF ITS GRANT
APPLIED FOR PURSUANT TO THE HOUSING AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974 BE ALLOCATED
FOR PLANNING AND APPLICATION PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has made an application
for a grant under the Housing and Community Development Act;
and
WHEREAS, the City may request authorization to incur
certain costs for the planning and preparation of its application;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it in the best interests
of the City of Anaheim to request the 10% of its grant application
be allotted to planning and application purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that any reimburse-
ment of costs incurred for planning and application purposes shall
be dependent upon the availability of funds to implement this
program and the submission of a timely application in accordance
with Section 570.303 of the Housing and Community Development Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that
the City Council does hereby request 100 of its grant under the
Housing and Community Development Act be allocated for planning
and application purposes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does
recognize that any reimbursement of costs incurred for planning
and application purposes is dependent upon the availability of
funds under the Housing and Community Development Act and the
timely submission of an application in accordance with Section
570.303 of the Housing and Community Development Act.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
