1974-560WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation of the State
of California has offered to sell certain property, generally
located on the north side of Ball Road adjacent to the east side
of the Santa Ana Freeway, to the City of Anaheim for the sum of
$91,300.00; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has agreed to purchase
said property for the sum of $91,300.00; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation has tendered
a deed to said property; and
WHEREAS, the deed has been determined to be correct in
both form and substance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
it is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said
deed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said deed be, and it is hereby, accepted
by the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director be,
and he is hereby, authorized to draw a warrant in the amount of
$91,300.00, payable to the Department of Transportation, State
of California, in full payment therefor, and to forward said
warrant to the City Attorney for transmittal to the Department
of Transportation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, directed to forward said deed and a certified copy of
this resolution to the City Attorney for transmittal to the
Department of Transportation.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 12th day of November, 1974.
