A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR THE
TRANSFER OF TITLE TO CERTAIN CONDUIT IN TRACTS
NOS. 7566 and 7569 TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FROM
THE ROBERT H. GRANT CORPORATION AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAME.
WHEREAS, Robert H. Grant Corporation has developed
Tracts Nos. 7566 and 7569 in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Robert H. Grant Corporation has installed
certain conduit to provide for cable television in said Tracts;
and
certain
various
WHEREAS,
conduit to
streets in
Robert H. Grant Corporation has installed
provide for television cable crossing
said Tracts; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has permitted the Robert
H. Grant Corporation to install said conduit within City's
streets; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim intends to franchise a
cable television operator to install cable television through-
out the City; and
WHEREAS, the Robert H. Grant Corporation presently
has no desire to become a cable television operator; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to a void any
conflict between the facilities installed by the Robert H.
Grant Corporation and that installed pursuant to a franchise
awarded by the City to a cable television operator.
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Anaheim to enter into an agreement, the terms and conditions
which are hereby approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the certain agreement this day
presented, the terms and conditions be, and they are hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said agreement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of November 1974.
