1974-540WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim owns said Mother Colony
House and it is in the best interest of the City to provide ade-
quate ingress, egress and parking for this historical landmark;
and
WHEREAS, the Red Cross has requested assistance in re-
pairing and maintaining access driveways and parking area serving
both the Red Cross House and the Mother Colony House next door;
and
WHEREAS, the southerly driveway is a private driveway
owned by Lera Mae Dwyer, a widow; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared wherein the
American Red Cross and Lera Mae Dwyer will grant to the City ap-
propriate easements of ingress and egress and the City will re-
pair the parking area, the terms and conditions of said agreement
are satisfactory to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
Anaheim that the agreement between the Red Cross and Lera Mae
Dwyer, this day submitted, be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
